Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite launched with S-Pen Support, 10-inch Display

Samsung on Monday launched the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with the S-Pen support and a 10.4-inch display. The Tab S6 Lite is a toned-down variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 that was launched back in October last year. The Tab S6 Lite comes with the support for kids mode and has Bixby integration.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite ships with a 10.4-inch WUXGA (1,200×2,000 pixels) TFT display with a pixel density of 224PPI and 5:3 Aspect Ratio. The Tab S6 Lite runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box with One UI 2 on top of it. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 9611 (10nm) SoC, and a Mali-G72 GPU to handle all the graphical tasks. The Tab S6 Lite comes with the 4GB of Ram and 64 GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded via a dedicated MicroSD card slot (up to 1TB). The Tab S6 Lite packs a 7,040mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 12 hours of Internet usage on a single charge.

Talking about the camera, the Tab S6 Lite comes with a single camera at the rear which has an 8-megapixel camera sensor with an autofocus lens. The tablet also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. There is also a Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound experience that is paired with dual speakers powered by AKG.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a gyroscope. The tablet comes with the S-Pen support that has a 0.7mm tip. Besides, the tablet measures 244.5×154.3×7.0mm and weighs 467 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Price in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India starting from ₹27,999 for the base Wi-Fi only variant, while its LTE model comes at ₹31,999. The Tab S6 Lite comes in three color options – Angora Blue, Chiffon Pink, and Oxford Gray. The tab S6 Lite will be available for Pre-Booking starting from 16th June, whereas the first sale of the Tab s6 Lite is scheduled for 17th June 2020. The Wi-Fi variant will be exclusive to Amazon and Samsung India e-Store. However, the LTE version will be available through select retail outlets, leading online portals, and Samsung India e-store.

Talking about the launch offers, customers will be able to grab the Samsung Galaxy Buds (worth ₹11,900) at just ₹2,999 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (worth ₹4,999) at just ₹2,500 when you Pre-Book the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in Indonesia earlier this year with 64GB and 128GB storage options. The India model is, however, limited to the 64GB storage option only.
