Moto Z4 leaked image shows Single Camera and Water-drop Notch

Lenovo-Owned company Motorola launched its Moto Z3 last August, but since it came with 2017’s Snapdragon 835 SoC instead of the 845, its due for an update sooner than usual.

Last year in August, Moto launched its Moto Z3 with 2017’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. Now the company is said to be working on a newer device in its Z-series, the Moto Z4. The phone has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, and recent reports suggest that the Moto Z4 will come with a refreshed design this time. 91 Mobiles have managed to get the first official Press to render pictures of the Moto Z4, which reveals key details regarding the flagship’s design.

According to the leaked image, the design of the phone is very similar to the older generation of the Moto Z series, the Moto Z3. The only notable difference you can see is the display. The Moto Z4 has an edge-to-edge display that has a Waterdrop-styled notch that houses the front-facing camera. The phone has very thin bezels on the sides, top, and bottom.

The render suggests that the Moto Z4 will feature only a single camera sensor at the back. The rear camera is rumored to be a 48-megapixels sensor sourced from Sony. There’s a 16-pin pogo connector at the back which confirms the Moto mods support.

We can’t locate the fingerprint sensor on the phone, so we assume that either the fingerprint sensor is side-mounted like last year’s Moto Z3 or Moto has given an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As far as the specs are concerned, the phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Moto Z4 is also expected to retain the 3,5mm headphone jack and feature a USB Type-C port.

Talking about the launch date, we can expect Moto Z4 to be officially launched on 3rd April as we can see that the date on the phone’s lock-screen is 3rd April.
