Black Shark 2 Pro unveiled with Snapdragon 855+ Soc, UFS 3.0 Storage and More

Xiaomi-backed tech company Black Shark launched the Black Shark 2 Pro in China today. The Phone is a Slightly revised version of the Black Shark 2 which was launched back in March this year. It’s a minor upgrade over its predecessor and aims to offer the latest Snapdragon 855+ and UFS 3.0 storage alongside a slightly refined design with improved grip and two additional RGB lights on the back.

The newly-launched Black Shark 2 Pro is available in 2 Variants in China. The base model is 12GB+128GB that is priced CNY 2,999 in China (Roughly $435 in the US) and the other one is having a 12GB+256GB variant, which is priced at CNY 3,499 in China (Roughly $510 in the 2US). The Smartphone is launched in 2 avatars, Electric black, and Ice ash.

Black Shark 2 Pro Specifications

The Balck Shark 2 Pro features a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 FHD+ resolution and a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, with Adreno 640 GPU paired with 12GB of RAM and a faster UFS 3.0 Storage. The Phone comes in 2 storage options – 128GB and 256GB. For Security, the phone comes with an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor. The Black Shark 2 Pro comes with a Liquid Cooling 3.0. In terms of connectivity, it is equipped with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.

The Balck Shark 2 Pro comes with a dual-camera setup, with a 48MP F/1.75 main sensor and a 12MP F/2.2 secondary sensor. There’s a 20-megapixel front shooter with an F/2.0 aperture. The Phone packs a 4000 mAh battery, which supports a 27 Watt fast charging. The Black Shark 2 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie with nearly stock experience.

The Black Shark 2 Pro is available in China starting from August 2. The Phone will be launched soon Globally.
