Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 appears to be the leaked name of the next smartwatch that will be launching by the Korean tech giant Samsung. The name has been spotted in an online certification listing, along with the model numbers. According to the earlier reports, the Upcoming Galaxy Watch from Samsung will with model numbers SM-R845 and SM-R855 for the LTE models, and SM-R840 and SM-R850 for the Wi-Fi-only models.
While the SM-R845 comes with a 45mm dial, the new listing shows that the Galaxy Watch with the SM-R855 model number will come with the 41mm dial. Additionally, Samsung has set up support pages for the SM-R840 and SM-R850 watches.
According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Moniker was spotted in a listing on Thailand’s NBTC certification listing for model the number SM-R855.
Other than hinting the name of the new upcoming Galaxy Watches, the listing also shows the size one of the Watches is 41mm and also mentions that it will ship with LTE support. It does not reveal any more specifications of the Galaxy Watch 3. But, UnGadgets was able to independently verify this listing.
Additionally, support pages for a smartwatch with model numbers SM-R840NZSAKOO, SM-R840NZKAKOO, SM-R850NZSAKOO, and SM-R850NZDAKOO have been set up, as first spotted by MySmartPrice. While the support pages do not reveal any details about the watch, they give us a hint that the launch date of the new Smartwatches from Samsung is coming close.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Specifications (Expected)
As per a report form Droid-life, the different variants of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 were spotted in a US FCC listing. The listings show some specifications of the watches, along with stating that the SM-R840 and SM-R845 have a 45mm dial size while the SM-R850 and SM-R855 have 41mm dial size. The watches are expected to come with a stainless-steel case and are expected to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass XD. They also have 5ATM water resistance and MIL-STD 810G certification. The upcoming Galaxy wate=ches are also expected to come with heart-rate sensors and GPS, for both the LTE and non-LTE variants. They are expected to support wireless charging at up to 5W.
