Dell on Thursday unveils four new Gaming Laptops in the Indian Market. All four laptops carry various price points and configurations targeting a diverse portfolio of gamers in the market. Dell Alienware m15 R3, Dell G5 15 SE, Dell G5 15, and Dell G3 15 are the gaming laptops that are launched by the company.
Dell Alienware m15 R3 Specs and Features
The Alienware m15 R3 comes with a 15.6-inch 4K OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Being an OLED display, the laptop will deliver very accurate colors and deep blacks. You will also get an option to opt for a full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with 300Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 300 nits brightness, and 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut.
The Alienware m15 R3 laptop is powered by a 10th gen Core i9 processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super with Max-Q design to fit in the frame. The chassis of the laptop is built out of the Magnesium-Alloy which makes the laptop durable and lightweight. The laptop comes with the Tobii Eye Tracking technology built-in, which can be used to control the laptop, and certain compatible games. Dell offers up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB PCIe M.2SSD for the Alienware m15 R3 gaming-centric laptop. It also comes with an 86Wh battery.
Dell claims that the Dell Alienware m15 R3 is the thinnest, lightest, and most powerful Alienware laptop. With a starting price of INR 1,99,990 , the Dell Alienware m15 R3 is also the most expensive of the four gaming laptops Dell has unveiled today.
Dell G5 15 Specs and Features
The Dell G5 15 comes with an anti-glare 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display which offers wide viewing angles and can go up to 300 nits of brightness. The Dell G5 15 is powered by up to 10th gen Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card.
The Laptop also comes with dual-fan cooling technology which helps in keeping the temperature of the laptop low. The Dell G5 15 comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD, and a full-size backlit keyboard.
Though the company hasn’t specified the battery life for the laptop, it comes with a 51Wh battery. r connectivity, you get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI port, a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, two SuperSpeed USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, and a USB Type-C port.
The Dell G5 15 starts at INR 82,590 and will be available in the “Interstellar Dark” color option.
Dell G5 15 Special Edition Specs and Features
The Dell G5 15 Special Edition comes with a a very similar design as the regualr G5. However, the Special Edition G5 features a 15.6-inch full-HD display with 60Hz refresh rate and 220nits of brightness, as compared to 300 nits of brightness on the regular G5.
Dell G5 15 Special Edition is powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 H-series mobile processors with AMD Radeon RX 5600M GPUs. Excepgt these two changes, everuthing is similar between the Dell G5 15 and the Dell G5 Special Edition.
The Dell G5 15 Special Edition is priced at INR 74,990 and will be available in Supernova Silver colour option.
Dell G3 15 Specs and Features
The Dell G3 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD 60Hz display which comes either with 220 nits brightness or with 300 nits brightness. The laptop is powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU, with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM. The G3 15 also comes with a 51Whr battery, same as the Dell G5.
Dell offers up to 16GB of DDR4 Ram for the G3 15 gaming laptop. The Laptop comes with two storage configurations – 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD or 256GB PCIe M.2 SSD with 1TB 5400 RPM HDD. Connectivity options on the Dell G3 15 (3500) include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, an HDMI port, a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, two SuperSpeed USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, and an Ethernet port.
The Dell G3 15 will be available in Eclipse Black and Alpine White and is priced at IMR 73,990.
Price and Availability
The Dell Alienware m15 R3 comes with a starting price of INR 1,99,990, whereas the Dell G5 15 Special Edition starts at INR 74,990. The Dell G5 15 starts at INR 82,590, and finally, the Dell G3 15 is priced beginning at INR 73,990. Though Dell hasn’t given away the availibility details of the laptops, the company has said that the laptops will be available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, select Dell Exclusive Stores, and select large format retail and multi brand outlets.
