Apple recently introduced the iPhone SE (2020), with iPhone 8 like design and the A13 Bionic chipset that we saw on the iPhone 11 series. But as is with all Apple iPhone models, the company does not reveal second-generation iPhone SE’s RAM and battery capacity. But a Chinese carrier has listed the iPhone SE (2020)on its website and thankfully, we have got the details about the RAM and the battery capacity of the iPhone SE (2020) on its site.
According to the carrier, the new iPhone comes with 3GB of RAM, which is an increase over the 2GB of the iPhone 8, but lower than the 4GB in the other A13 phones in the iPhone 11 family. However, the battery capacity remains 1,821 mAh – exactly the same as the iPhone 8. Apple has listed on its that the new iPhone SE’s battery will last the same as the iPhone 8, so it all adds up together. According to the Apple website, the refreshed iPhone SE battery can last up to 13 hours of video playback, 8 hours of video streaming, up to 40 hours of audio playback. The iPhone 8 is listed to last about the same time as well. In contrast, the iPhone 11 offers 17 hours of video playback, 10 hours of video streaming, and up to 65 hours of audio playback. All three phones support an 18W charger that can charge the iPhones up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
Talking about the refreshed iPhone SE’s price in China, the Chinese telco has listed the base 64GB variant at CNY3,299 ($465/€428) which goes up to CNY4,599 ($650/€600) for the 256GB variant. The Telco will offer the phone in all three colors – White, Black, and the (Product)Red.
