Vivo’s Sub-brand iQoo is all set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. iQoo will launch the new flagship smartphone on February 25, reveals the media invite sent by iQoo. The iQoo 3 will make its debut in China as well on the same day. The phone is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Flagship SoC and will also have 5G support. iQoo recently announced its partnership with Flipkart to sell its smartphones in India. The Smartphone will be available in India through the online marketplace – Flipkart and the company’s official iQoo.com website. Last month, Vivo sub-brand iQoo made its India debut and introduced it as a separate legal entity. The iQoo 3 could be a strong competitor against the flagship offerings of OnePlus, Huawei, and Xiaomi.
The official invite sent by iQoo India has highlighted February 25 as its launch date. The launch event will kick off at 12pm (noon) IST. Moreover, the brand has teased the launch through its social media channels.

Recent teasers suggest that the iQoo 3 is expected to come with a Quad-Camera setup, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is also teased to come with UFS 3.1 storage, though the storage capacity is yet to be revealed. The iQoo 3 will be India’s first smartphone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
Some purported live images of the iQoo 3 suggested that it will feature a hole-punch display design and will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is also speculated to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 55W fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to come with Android 10 out-of-the-box with a custom UI on top.
The brand entered the smartphone market as a sub-brand of Vivo last year. However, its Indian counterpart has been established as a separate legal entity in the country, though it would leverage Vivo’s manufacturing facility.
