Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Now available in India: Check Features and Specs

After the global launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+ earlier this month, the note 10 and the note 10+ are now officially available in India. The South Korean giant, Samsung, started taking Pre-orders just after the Global launch and also revealed the price of both the smartphones for the Indian market. The company also revealed that the sale of the new handsets will begin in the country from August 23. To attract more Indian customers, the company has also provided S-Pen handwriting recognition support for four Indian languages.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Specifications and Features

Samsung has provided the S Pen that largely distinguishes the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ from the competition. The S-Pen has new features that make it even more useful. Samsung has given a gyroscope and an accelerometer so it can be used as a motion controller. The default gestures help you navigate the UI at a distance, but Samsung is opening up the Air Actions SDK, so the app and game developers can use it in new, creative ways.

The handwritten notes using S-Pen can now be converted into Digital text in the Samsung notes app. Users can also export the text to other apps like Microsoft Word and more. Also, the company has given the S-Pen handwriting recognition support for four Indian languages, namely Hindi, Hinglish, Marathi, and Urdu.

Both the phones also has Samsung DeX support to deliver a new productivity experience. Both the phones will be available in both LTE as well as 5G variants, of course, the 5G variants will be limited as most of the carriers have still not moved on the next-gen networks yet. In India, only LTE variants are available for purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 features an Infinity O Display with 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Panel with 1080p+ resolution (401ppi). under the hood, the phone is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 9825 SoC Coupled with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 256GB of onboard storage which isn’t expandable. Connectivity options include 4G (LTE Cat. 20), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, MST, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, RBG light sensor, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone runs Android 9 Pie with the latest One UI version on top.

On the Camera front. the galaxy Note 10 comes with the triple camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with a wide-angle (77 degrees) lens that sports a variable aperture (f/1.5-f/2.4) and has optical image stabilization (OIS). The setup also includes a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle (123 degrees) lens that has an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.1 telephoto lens (45 degrees) and OIS support.

For selfies, the Galaxy Note 10 has a hole-punch design that includes a 10-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens that has an 80-degree field of view.

In terms of power, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 packs a 3,500mAh battery that works along with the bundled 25W charger. The phone measures 151×71.8×7.9mm and weigh 168 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+ are very Similar to each other. Both the phones share a lot of features and specifications as both come with the One UI based on Android Pie (9.0) out-of-the-box and also supports the S-Pen.

However, the main difference comes with the Screen size. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ features a 6.8” Dynamic AMOLED panel with 1440p+ resolution (498ppi). The phone also has 12GB of RAM unlike the galaxy note 10’s 8GB RAM and is available two storage options – 256GB and 512GB, which can also be expanded via and microSD Card.

On the camera front, the phone has the same camera setup as the Galaxy Note 10. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ also features a 3D ToF sensor, which is used by the 3D Scanner app to create 3D models of real-life objects (it can scan objects as large as 80 x 80 x 80cm).

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports up to 45W fast charging. Lastly, the device measures 162.3×77.2×7.9mm and weighs 196 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is only available in one variant, 8GB + 256GB storage variant and is priced at ₹69,999.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is available in two variants – 12GB RAM+256GB variant which is Priced at ₹79,999 and the other is 12GB+512GB which is priced at ₹ 89,999.

Both the Phones are available in 3 color variants – Aura Black, Aura Glow, and Aura White. There is also an Aura Red color variant specifically of the Galaxy Note 10.

On Pre-ordering Samsung galaxy note 10 and the Note 10+, the customers can available a Cashback of ₹6,000 if they pay using their HDFC Bank Credit Cards on retail outlets and Samsung Online Store. Samsung is also offering a cashback worth up to Rs. ₹6,000 for customers pre-ordering through ICICI Bank credit or debit cards at Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq.

As a part of Pre-booking offers, the company is also providing Galaxy Buds at ₹4,999 down from its original price of ₹9,999. The buyers can also opt for Samsung Galaxy Watch Active at ₹9,999, down from its original price of ₹19,999.
